About BG
The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) is a scientific centre for the study of plants, their diversity and conservation, as well as a popular tourist attraction. It is the second oldest botanic garden in Britain after Oxford’s. It was founded in 1670, it commemorates its 350th anniversary this year. Inverleith House is a listed  historic house, now within the Royal Botanic Garden.
Christmas at the Botanics
One of Edinburgh's most popular festive season events, Christmas at the Botanics, returns for its third year from 22 November to 29. An after-dark festive extravaganza will see the Garden transformed with several new awe-inspiring attractions for visitors to enjoy.
Amongs other installations like Laser Garden - dancing lines of light playfully bounce across the branches. Festive Flotilla - hundreds of glowing boats gently bob on the shimmering surface . Tunnel of Light - twinkling with thousands of pea lights. Or Festive Finale -brightly coloured projections dance in time to Christmas classics.
About Project
“A Card for Christmas”, Directed Ross Ashton at TPS, and Karen Monid (sound). I developped the concept design and 2-3d artwork design, on a tight deadline, for the Festive Finale.  The artwork design integrates several sections. Its an aesthetic interpretation of xMas and the Botanics for this specific building, site and event.
