Blenheim Palace/ Oxfordshire, UK

Projection Mapping Content Design

Directed by Ross Ashton, we worked on developing content design for The Projection Studio. Blenheim is a monumental English country house, the principal residence of the Dukes of Marlborough, and the only non-royal non-episcopal country house in England to hold the title of palace. The palace, one of England's largest houses, was built between 1705 and circa 1722. Blenheim Palace was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Blenheim has formal gardens and pleasure grounds within a landscape park, the whole site covering 975 hectares. The palace is also notable as the birthplace and ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill.
Blenheim hosts a Christmas light festival.
Its fazades and gardens transform into a festive trail of lights through its unique parkland landscape. We designed content for mapped projection onto fountains and sculptures garden wall.
Content Design
The Seasons progresion was the center theme. We developped site model, and created 2-3d design for scenes as part of TPS team.
